About Us ...

Enabled easy and free video tracking for anyone

FastTrack project was first started to study the chemical perception of zebrafish. It evolved to support a wide range of systems, from micro-organisms to pedestrians. The current version integrates an intuitive user interface that enabled the user to automatically track objects -independent of their total or instantaneous number- and to examine and correct the tracking.

FastTrack history

About Us.

FastTrack was first started in 2019 by Benjamin Gallois as a side project from his Ph.D. thesis. It is now maintained by him as a part of his Ph.D. and mostly on his spared time.

Tracking for everybody

Tracking objects on video recording is for a lot of scientists' daily routine. Free and robust software, that are consistent are rare.

Our philosophy is to provide a free (as libre) software to help scientists on this daily task.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a free alternative to commercial tracking software that can be used by non-technical people regardless of programming abilities, that do not necessitate expensive equipment.

Want to contribute?

Any collaboration to FastTrack is welcome. From bug report to documentation, anybody can contribute.
